Answere:
-
How do I clean the nano sealed car windows ?
Aggressive cleaners can damage the nano sealant. We recommend cleaning the windows only with water or use our ‘All Over Car Care cleaner’, which is solvent and surfactant free.

-
Is the car glass sealant resistant against frost ?
Yes, the sealant cures completely. Aggressive anti freeze solutions can damage the sealant. We offer a special anti frost solution, which is harmless to the sealant.

-
How long does it take for the sealant to cure ?
The sealant should cure for at least 60 minutes, but it would be more efficient to leave it for 12 hours.

-
The water repellence ability decreases after a short time, what has happened ?
The repellence ability can fade because of contaminants. In this case, simply clean the surface with a mild cleaner and wash off thoroughly with water. The repellence effect will then be reproduced. You can also use alcohol/spirit.

-
Do I have to pay attention to the weather when applying the sealant ?
Yes, it shouldn’t be raining or freezing. Direct sunlight should also be avoided.

-
What can I do, if the repellence ability fades away after 20,000 km (12,500 miles) ?
The window can then simply be sealed again.

-
Why does the car window need to be pre-cleaned with the nano car glass cleaner ?
The window doesn’t have to be pre-cleaned with the car glass cleaner. Our cleaner contains grinding parts, which remove all grease.

-
Do I have to clean the window with water after using a cleaner ?
Yes, the cleaner dissolves surface contaminants. With water and a damp nano eraser pad, all these contaminants can be removed.

-
How long does it take for the car paint sealant to cure ?
The sealant should cure for at least 60 minutes, but it would be more efficient to leave it for 12 hours. During this time the vehicle should be in a dry place.

-
Can I use the 2 K car paint sealant on all types of car paint ?
No, it has been developed for paints from the year of manufacture 1996.

-
Instead of using the car paint cleaner, can I also use a normal car shampoo ?
No. For a 2 K paint sealant it is absolutely essential to use the paint cleaner, as the paint surface needs to be ‘opened’ and free from contaminants.

-
Can I polish out the cleaner or can I seal it, too ?
The cleaner needs to be polished out thoroughly, so that no grinding matter is sealed.

-
Can I use the 2 K car paint sealant on a used car ?
Yes, but you should remember that the included cleaner ‘opens’ the paint. Scratches are not removed, but existing wax, which fills the scratches will be removed with the included cleaner. As a result, scratches will be visible and will need to be treated with a cutting compound, which should only be done by a professional. The sealing compounds close the paint. These are neutral in colour and make non-treated scratches visible.

-
While using the cleaner, some of it got onto the plastic mouldings. Does that do any harm ?
No, simply wipe off the cleaner with a damp cloth.

-
What can I do if I want to seal my used car, but have previously polished scratches out with polish or wax ?
In such cases, use our "Nano Multi Foam". It is ideal for new and old cars.

-
Can I apply a sealant in sanitary rooms ?
Yes, but you should pay attention that the there is no high humidity in the room while applying the sealant.

-
How long does it take for the synthetic material sealant to cure ?
The sealant should cure for at least 60 minutes, but it would be more efficient to leave it for 12 hours. During this time the surfaces should not be exposed to humidity.

-
Do I have to beware of certain prerequisites ?
Yes, before sealing the surface should always be dry, clean and grease free.

-
What can I do if the ‘easy-to-clean effect’ decreases ?
Clean the surfaces with our glass cleaner SR. It can happen that surfactant remains adhere to the surface. If the effect is still not reproduced after cleaning, you can seal the surface again.

-
Can I treat any synthetic surfaces with the nano synthetic material sealant ?
Yes, any surface inside and outside.

-
How do I clean, for example a synthetic shower or piece of garden furniture after the treatment with the nano synthetic material sealant ?
Clean with a damp cloth. Aggressive cleaners are not necessary.

-
Does the sealant prevent the adhesion of algae ?
Depending on the stone and position, algae adhesion can be decreased or stopped.

-
What is the difference between the concrete & flooring sealant and the wood & stone sealant ?
The concrete & flooring sealant is recommended for surfaces that are at risk of damage through scuffing. "Wood & Stone" is ideal for all surfaces that are walked on. With the wood & stone sealant, the lotus effect lasts for the whole durability of the sealant. The lotus effect of a concrete sealant decreases sooner, which doesn’t mean a loss of protection ability.

-
Can a sealant be applied outside in the winter ?
Yes, if completely dry and at least 4° Celsius (39° Fahrenheit).

-
Does frost or heat do any damage to the sealed surface ?
The nano sealant is absolutely frost and temperature resistant.

-
How can I seal large surfaces – by hand or by using a spraying pistol ?
It doesn’t matter in which way the sealant is applied. Around the house the best thing to use is a sprayer and outdoors a spray pump.

-
Can I make, for example earthenware frost resistant ?
Frost damage caused by close weathering cannot be avoided. Objects can be better protected against frost when treating with "Percenta Wood & Stone".

-
Can "Percenta Wood & Stone" be used to seal cellars etc. ?
No, "Percenta Wood & Stone" is water resistant sealant, but doesn’t protect against dampness.

-
Is “Percenta Textile & Leather” self-cleaning ?
No, there are no self-cleaning surfaces. ‘Percenta Textile & Leather Sealant’ has an anti adhesion ability, which prevents liquids from getting into the fibres. Contaminants are simply repelled and the cleaning is easier and the costs for cleaning agents will be reduced.

-
How do the textiles have to be pre-treated ?
Washing powder remains need to be completely removed by washing only with clear water.

-
Do I have to seal textiles on both sides ?
Not necessarily, but it is important to seal the fibre completely.

-
Can I dry sealed textiles in a tumble dryer ?
Yes, tumble dryable textiles can be put into a tumble dryer.

-
Will the breathability and grip of the textiles affected ?
Breathability and grip of the textiles won’t be affected when using the nano sealant as required.

-
What temperatures can the treated textiles washed at ?
Maximum 60° Celsius. There will be no need to wash at above 60 ° Celsius when sealed properly. Normally washing at 30 or 40 ° Celsius is enough to clean the treated textiles. Only a little washing powder is needed, because the fibres are not as dirty through the anti adhesion ability. Don’t use washing agents with surfactants/detergents that damage nano particles.

-
Does "Percenta Leather & Textile" protect the colours against UV radiation ?
"Percenta Leather & Textile" is UV stable, but doesn’t protect colours against bleaching and fading.

-
What do I need to keep in mind when cleaning ?
It is enough to clean the treated surface with water and a brush or a broom. Tough contaminants can be removed with a high pressure cleaner.

-
How long does the sealant take to cure ?
The treated surface can be walked on after about 1 to 2 hours and are completely cured after about 2 days.

-
Can I use concrete & flooring sealant on wood ?
No. For wood & stone use wood & stone sealant.

-
Can I use concrete & flooring sealant as an anti graffiti sealant ?
No. Graffiti cannot be removed from a concrete & flooring sealant without using chemical cleaning agents.

-
Why is the durability of the concrete & flooring sealant longer than the wood & stone sealant ?
That is due to the composition of the nano particles. There are a lot of nano ceramic particles in the concrete & flooring sealant, which prevent from mechanical wear. At an early stage, this sealant can only be removed with a sandblaster.

-
The lotus effect decreases after a short time. Did I do anything wrong ?
No. With concrete sealants, the lotus effect decreases after a short time, which doesn’t affect the anti adhesion ability of dirt, moss or other contaminants.

-
Can the grouting get damaged when sealing tiles ?
No. Grouting will not be damaged.

-
Can I use the glass & ceramics sealant on dishes ?
Yes. The sealant needs to cure for at least 1 hour, preferably for 12 hours. Then it is absolutely harmless. Dishes are easier to clean and less washing up liquid is needed.

-
What happens when I use abrasive bathroom/kitchen cleaners after sealing ?
Abrasive bathroom/kitchen cleaners damage the sealant. Use only water and our nano eraser. That saves time and is environmentally friendly.

-
Do I have to treat the tiles or the grouting first ?
You should at first treat the grouting with ‘Percenta Wood & Stone’ and then the tiles with ‘Percenta Glass & Ceramics’. Excessive materials on the tiles should be removed immediately with a clean absorbent cloth, because stains can form.

-
What needs to be done when some of the product gets on the rubber seal while sealing the window ?
Nothing. "Percenta Glass & Ceramics" is neutral.

-
Limescale forms although the surface is sealed. Have I done anything wrong ?
No. When water dries, limescale remains, which can simply be wiped off with a wet cloth.

-
While sealing the sink, some of the product got onto the stainless steel fittings. Can this cause any damage ?
No. You can also seal the tap with the ceramics sealant, but it won’t last as long as if treated with the stainless steel sealant.

-
Can glass surfaces be sealed in the winter ?
Yes, if completely dry surfaces can be ensured and the temperature is at least 4° Celsius (39° Fahrenheit).

-
Does frost or heat do any damage to the sealed surface ?
The nano sealant is absolutely frost and temperature resistant.

-
Can I use the Glass sealant SR for cars or in the house ?
The sealants should only be used for surfaces as specified.

-
After 4 weeks the glass had to be cleaned. What has happened ?
The self-cleaning effect needs some weeks to develop, as the titanium dioxide needs to settle in the matrix and remove already existing contaminants.

-
I’ve sealed my windows as required, but there is no lotus effect. What happened ?
Nothing. With the glass sealant, water spreads evenly over the surface and runs off, instead of in droplets.

-
Can I use the chrome and stainless steel sealant on the car paint ?
No. Unless, it is a stainless steel car (De Lorean).

-
How do I clean sealed stainless steels objects ?
Just as any other sealed products with water and a damp cloth.

-
How does the chrome and stainless steel sealant react to heat ?
It is heat resistant up to 300° Celsius (572° Fahrenheit).

-
Can I also seal pots and pans ?
Yes, but only on the outside.

-
Do I have to pre-clean the surface before applying the nano multi foam ?
Only extremely tough contaminants need to be removed.

-
Can nano multi foam be used on glass ?
No. In the case of any connection with glass, the foam has to be removed immediately with a damp cloth, because it is hard to remove after drying and forms streaks.

-
What do I have to keep in mind when using a wheel sealant ?
Just as with any other sealant, the surface to be treated needs to be clean, dry and grease free.

-
Can the wheel sealant be used on all car wheels ?
It can be used on all steel, alloy and chrome wheels, except of specially painted wheels.

-
What is nanotechnology ?
The word ‘nano’ comes from the Greek language and means ‘midget’. One nm (short for nanometre) equals one millionth of a millimeter.
The scale of a nano molecule compared to a football is the same as the football compared to the world.
Nanotechnology relates to the production, research and use of extremely small structures. The nanometre scale is the scale of single atoms and tiny molecules. One nanometre represents about 4 to 6 atoms. Particles on a nano scale, so called nano particles, or polymers (smaller than 100nm) are the building blocks of this technology. The ability to utilise materials on the atomic level and the use of the unique phenomena that occur on that small scale, give a huge amount of possibilities for almost every field, for example energy and conservation technology, IT business, medicine and pharmaceutical industries. On an atomic level, there are no borders between chemistry, biology and physics. It all comes together into interdisciplinary technology, that means no demarcation for lots of branches.
Nanotechnology is setting a trend for the future decades and opens new markets.

-
Does the sealant prevent the adhesion of algae ?
Depending on the stone and position, algae adhesion can be decreased or stopped.

-
Is the sealant harmless to skin ?
Nano sealants have been tested by an independent institute and were designated to be harmless to skin.

-
Are the nano products harmful to health ?
When used as specified, there are no known problems. However, children should be kept away from the products.

-
What is the durability of Percenta nano products ?
This depends on the surface to be sealed. Please read the link to facts about nanotechnology sealants.

-
Can I remove a nano sealant ?
Yes, all products will be removed by mechanical wear, but this is more difficult with concrete & flooring sealants.

-
Can an outdoor surface be sealed in the winter ?
Yes, if completely dry and the surface is at least 4° Celsius (39° Fahrenheit).

-
How can I prevent any spots ?
Spots, which appear immediately after sealing and drying, can be removed through washing with clear water.

-
Are there different ways of applying sealants ?
Yes, it depends on the surface to be treated. Some products can be applied by hand, e.g. car glass and nano multi foam. Others need to be applied by using a spray pump, e.g. wood & stone.

-
Do Percenta nano products emit any pollutants ?
No, except products that contain isopropyl, which is an acohol. Most of our products are water based.

-
How can I seal large surfaces – by hand or by using a spraying pistol ?
It doesn’t matter which way the sealant is applied. Around the house the best thing to use is a sprayer and polish the surfaces with the included cloths afterwards.

-
What needs to be done if the coating has been damaged ?
In the case of damaged coatings, simply treat them again.

-
The repellency effect has faded away or decreased – what do I need to do ?
After several washings, the repellency effect on textiles can decrease. In this case the textiles can be sealed again. Sometimes remains of washing agents can adhere to the textiles, which interrupts repellency. When the textiles have been treated with a strong washing powder, the repellence ability disappears, but the fibre protection remains. Through washing again with clear water and drying afterwards, the repellency ability will be re-produced.
Before applying a sealant, wash the textiles only with water to remove any washing agents remains.
The repellency ability can decrease through contaminants. In this case simply clean the surface with a mild cleaner and wash thoroughly. The repellency ability will then be re-produced. If the repellency ability cannot be re-produced, it can be a sign of a damaged surface.

-
Do any pollutants get into the water when nano products wear off ?
No. For example, glass & ceramic sealants can ideally be used in aquariums.

-
Can I apply nano products on surfaces that have been sealed with other products ?
Yes, but the surfaces should be pre-cleaned thoroughly. The surface to be treated has to be clean, dry and grease free.
